Refund Policy
Any student who cancels prior to the start of instruction shall receive a full refund. For a 16 hour course, a full refund will be issued if cancellation occurs prior to the start of instruction. A 50% refund will be issued if cancellation occurs following the first 8 hours but before the start of the second 8 hour segment. For the 47 hour Firearms Training Course, a full refund will be issued if cancellation occurs prior to the start of instruction. An 80% refund will be issued if cancellation occurs after the start of deadly force instruction but before the firearms handling, safety, proficiency and qualification component begins. No refund will be issued once the firearms handling, safety, proficiency and qualification component begins.
Refund Procedure
Any monies paid to the school in excess of the sum due the school by the student who cancels, withdraws, or is discontinued will be refunded within thirty (30) days after written notice. Student can receive refund in the form of a check or refund to credit card. Students may elect to apply refund towards future training. Attendance Policy
100% attendance is required for all courses however we recognize that instances may arise when a student may not be able to attend class due to illness, family emergency, child care, or any other reasonable cause. In these instances, we require telephone or email notification of absence from class. We will allow the student to make up hours during the next available course. Students that are no-call no-show, may be excluded from making up hours, however, they may appeal to the school director. Make up training will be granted on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to reject any application for admission, or terminate a student for reasons of safety, attendance, conduct or not conforming to the rules and regulations of this school and NYS Div. of Criminal Justice Services. Complaint Policy All complaints will be reviewed by the school director. We will make every effort possible to resolve matters in a fair and equitable manner.
